Ocean Blog Hop

Lisa at A Grateful Artist - Pine Ridge Treasures is hosting the Ocean Blog Hop.  I love Lisa's hops, she always sends us a great selection of beads to go with the theme. Let me show you what she sent me for this one....
I have to confess, Orange is really not one of my favorite colors, so this was a bit of a challenge for me.  But once I started I couldn't stop, and I had a lot of nice cultured sea glass from Lisa's destash group to use with these beads.  I ended up with a necklace, 2 pairs of earrings and 3 bracelets.

Here is a close up of the necklace
And a shot of the back
For this one, the white beads were from the hop, the rest are from my Lisa stash.

Here are the first pair of earrings, using the bronze metal pieces:

Second pair of earrings, using some of the orange cultured seaglass:

Dreamsicle bracelet, everything but the larger white beads and the clasp was from the hop package:

My 2nd bracelet (couldn't come up with a name for this one). The clasp and the blue cultured seaglass were from my Lisa stash:

And the sunset bracelet, it just makes me think of the sun setting on the water.  This is my favorite piece and was hard to photograph, so I've got two pictures for you.  The orange crystals, cultured seaglass, bronze spacers and clasp were from the hop package.

I need names for the necklace, one bracelet and both sets of earrings.  If you have any ideas let me know.  We took the pictures using a photo tent for the first time and I think that it helped a lot.  I am not good at taking pictures, so I need all the help I can get.

Please visit the other participants to see what they did with their beads, and come back to Lisa's blog on June 14th to see the 2nd reveal!

  11. Wow, wonderful creations. It is great to have some extra seaglass from Lisa's destash events. I used some starfish beads in my bracelet. I love the Dreamsicle bracelet, because you can't go to the beach without having ice cream. Dreamsicles were my fav as a kid!
